We thrive on ensuring that all our staff are suitable for their positions and give them lots of opportunities to extend their personal development, so they are happy and confident within their roles.

I fell into a career of childcare some 30+ years ago, and studied for my Early Years Professional Status in 2008. I just love the fun and joy you receive being around children, and I believe every day is a learning day, even for us adults. I have 3 children and 5 grandchildren, I love spending time with them all, especially at Christmas which is my favourite time of year.

I have worked at LCT for 19 years, I am passionate about making a difference for the children and their families who attend here. I like to keep fit, and love nothing more than hitting the trails, booking my next race!!! Or going for an early morning dip in the sea.

I have worked at the LCT since 2010, starting off as a practitioner. When I'm not at work I love to play my clarinet, sing and read and write. I enjoy working with the LCT because the whole team is so experienced and dedicated to the well being and learning of children and together we make a positive difference.

I have been in education for over 30 years, I trained as Montessori Teacher in London eventually moving to Cornwall for a slower pace of life and the beaches.
I love music, and over the last couple of years have seen favourite bands live with my sons. I enjoy Pilates, horse riding and reading: a great way to relax. I also enjoy meeting up with friends for a coffee, and having my family around.

I am a 1-1 support and SENDco I am responsible for supporting children with a range of needs, including social & emotional, communication & complex needs. I love working at LCT & being able to support children & their families with a great team.

I have always had a passion for working with children and love watching them develop their own personality. My hobbies are, theatre and movement to music and I am a co Director of Thursday Night Theatre club. I also do babysitting just ask the office for my number.

I was brought up on a farm and now live in Helston with my three children. I am a lead Practitioner in the Nursery room looking after 0 to 3 year olds. I enjoy working for LCT because we all have the same motivation to help our community/ families and their children.

I have 4 children that have all attended The Lizard child trust. Now that they are older my weekend are full, I love to watch my daughter in her musical theater shows and my 3 boys play rugby. Even if I do get wet!

I am passionate about being a part of the Early Years and working with children and their families at LCT. I have worked in childcare for over twenty years. You will find me with the hatchlings and little lizards. When I am not working I love to spend time with my family including my own three children and walking my dogs.

I have been in the childcare sector for 31 years and it is still a profession I love.
I trained and qualified as a NNEB with my first job In Warwickshire. It has been a privilege having the opportunity to experience many varied positions within the childcare role, and LCT has supported this before and after having a family.
I hope to continue to be part of each child's learning journey with a big smile, especially anything creative!

Local born and bred with 30 years experience, level 3. I joined LCT in 2019. I started in the nursery room, and recently transitioned to the preschool room. I enjoy crafts, creating learning intentions through imaginative play and working with a caring supportive team.

I've been part of LCT for just over 4 years. Having a key part in the children's educational journey and supporting them as they grow is why I love my role, including working alongside other dedicated practitioners. I love being at the beach with my partner and our 2 children.

I am the very energetic Scottish one. I have 3 of my own children and I also teach Tae Kwon Do as I am a 4th degree black belt. I enjoy doing lots of physical activities to get the children moving and learning in new exciting ways.

I am passionate about my role at LCT. I am currently a 1-1 support and work across both rooms. I love watching the children develop into their own little characters and being able to support them and their parents. I have 3 children of my own, we love family time and dog walks on the beach.

Now my children are older I am able to get back out working & socialising after working from home for a while. LCT has seen all 4 of my children through early years starting with my eldest back in 2004! I love to spend time with my family visiting different places and exploring.

I took musical theatre at collage and I enjoy going to watch musicals and spending time with my family. I also love trying out the wake and shake sessions and singing with the children. My favourite one is the "wiggle dance"
I have been lucky enough to work in Lapland for the past few Christmas's as Santa's little Elf which was really magical.

I am currently at collage taking my level 3 in early years which I am absolutely loving. It is such a pleasure to be part of the children's lives and watch them become their own individual people. I am one of six children so I come from a very busy household, I like to read stories to my younger siblings. ​

Since having my own children, I have developed a passion for early years education. I have recently started my level 3 diploma in early years, Which is an exciting step in my journey. Outside of work , I enjoy watching live bands and going snowboarding holidays with my family.

I've been part of the LCT team for the past two years, and during that time I've really discovered how much I enjoy supporting children's learning and development. When I'm not at work, I enjoy listening to music and doing puzzles.

I have three children with my youngest attending LCT.I enjoy music and play the cornet for Illogan Sparnon Silver Band. My weekends are spent out with the band or watching my son playing football. I am currently studying for a degree in Childhood and Youth studies with the open university and have completed a HNC in Psychology. This has inspired my passion for working with in early years.
