I’m Stacey, and I’ve been part of LCT since 2005. I lead community projects across Helston and the Lizard Peninsula, working to connect and support people of all ages and backgrounds. We’re always open to new ideas—feel free to get in touch via our contact form!

🎭 Carnival Creativity

Each summer, our holiday club children and staff come together to design and create costumes for the local Carnival. Our recent theme, Woodland Wonderland, was a huge success—we won the Large Walking Group category! A big thank you to everyone who took part and helped bring the magic to life.

🍳 Summer Cooking Project

Thanks to generous funding, we ran a cooking initiative during the summer holidays to support children and families. To ensure inclusivity, all children participated in cooking sessions. Each child received a bag of ingredients to recreate the recipes at home with their parents or carers. The feedback, photos, and videos were incredible—and helped us secure further funding to continue this work.

🐾 Fundraising & Adventures

We fundraise throughout the year to provide equipment, resources, and memorable experiences for our pre-school children. This year, we visited the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, where staff praised our children’s behaviour. The kids loved learning about how the sanctuary cares for rescued seals—it was a day to remember!
